Your golf data should belong to you

Most golf apps lock your data behind their cloud. We don't. My Golf Insights stores every round on your phone first — and if you ever want to leave, you can export everything as a plain CSV that you can read in any spreadsheet.

What's in the template

21 columns, one row per hole:

  • Round info: Date, Course, Tee
  • Hole basics: Hole #, Handicap, Par, Yardage
  • Score: Score, vs Par, Putts, Putt Distance
  • Tee shot: Shot Shape, Club, Fairway hit
  • Approach: Approach Club, Approach Distance, GIR, Approach result
  • Other: Penalties, Pin Position, Notes

Valid values reference

CSV can't show dropdowns — use these exact values so your data imports cleanly into My Golf Insights or any other tool.

PenaltiesA number (0, 1, 2...) — not text
NotesFree text. Wrap in double quotes if it contains a comma: "Cart path, tough lie"

Importing into My Golf Insights: Setup → Data → Import Rounds CSV. Same template works both ways.
